Deputy Town Clerk

General Duties: The position is responsible for assisting in processing motor vehicle & boat registrations, vital records, dog licenses, voter registration and elections.  

Skills and Experience: strong customer service and communication skills, detail-oriented, basic accounting and computer skills.  Must be bondable. Training provided on & off-site. 

This is a full-time position (~35 hours per week to start) with excellent health, dental, and retirement benefits.   Starting wage range $17.48-$18.91, dependent upon experience. The Deputy Town Clerk also works at all elections (1-4 per year, approx. 6:30am-8pm).

Finance and Communications Assistant

General Duties: Processing accounts payable and payroll, and producing the town’s communications with residents via the web and printed material.  Other tasks include responding to resident calls and office visits.

Skills and Experience:  data entry with an attention to detail; and preferably an ability in a variety of software applications. 

This is a part-time position of approximately 16 hours per week, with some fixed and some flexible weekday hours.   Starting wage $18.77/hr.
