Facilities Maintenace Worker
Auburn Parks and Recreation
Auburn Parks and Recreation is looking to fill an immediate opening for the part time position of Facilities Maintenance Worker. The responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Ensuring that all Parks and Rec properties are clean and safe at all times.
- Remove trash from all recreational facilities.
- Assemble and install new equipment.
- Monitor condition of existing equipment and repair as needed.
- Open and close recreational facilities each year.
- Set up and clean up at all recreational events as well as assist at events as needed.
- Maintain recreational fields and ice-skating rinks.
- Performs repairs and maintenance as requested to the Town Hall.
- Performs winter snow clearing at Town facilities.
- Attend Parks and Recreation meetings as needed.
Although the hours will vary depending on the season, the weather and the P&R events schedule, the typical work week will be Monday through Friday, 15-20 hours per week with occasional weekend hours as needed.
