Welcome to the Town of Auburn's Website!
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Town of Auburn via our official website! We hope you find this website to be user friendly and enhances your browsing experience as you familiarize yourself with our town’s picturesque landscapes and services that are readily available to residents and guests.
Settled in 1720 and Incorporated in 1845, the Town of Auburn is located in southern New Hampshire adjacent to the largest city in the State of New Hampshire. The Town is a community of active and friendly people and is home to picturesque Lake Massabesic. Auburn offers an excellent school system, is home to a tremendous amount of conservation land and outdoor recreational opportunities, and maintains it’s historic, rural atmosphere, while it is also located within minutes of major highways and offers easy access to the rest of the State.
Auburn has a year-round population of just over 5,000. The Town’s elected officials and employees, those involved in our local government, and all of the many volunteers who give so generously of their time are dedicated to providing the best possible service to our residents, businesses, and visitors.
