Business

Budget comm. has accepted the Library budget less $600.

A special “boot” for the furnace has been ordered by Nancy Mayland.

We are waiting for a report from Deborah Dimitriadis as to the best LCD projector to purchase, and for the cost of programs that the library has hosted.

SLJ will need to be contacted by Nancy for an estimate to light the outside sign.

A discussion followed about the reason and consequences of writing a policy for wearing the pendant and safety concerns of being in the library alone. It was agreed that the subject will be revisited at another time.

Janice Fusco contacted Nancy about items in the Griffin barn that belong to the library. It was decided that when Janice gives us a complete list the Trustees will vote on what to do with the items.

Jeanni would like to have all of the bills paid by the end of the year. Fred Frisella hasn't sent in a final bill as yet.

The Trustees voted to give a $30 gift card from Barnes and Noble to each of the staff for Christmas.

Auburn resident Roz Weizer questioned the Trustees about selection and purchasing of the books in the library. Nancy Mayland explained that all book purchases and selection were made by Edie Cummings as Director. It was suggested that she have a conversation with Edie at another time.

Our next meeting will be January 13 @10:30
