MWW Lifts Voluntary Conversation of Outdoor Water Use

-A A +A

The Manchester Water Works (MWW) Board of Water Commissioners voted on April 20th to officially suspend the voluntary water restriction previously requested of MWW customers in October 2016.

The request for voluntary restriction was made due to the extreme drought conditions last summer and into the fall months.

With precipitation experienced over the winter months, MWW is pleased to report that Lake Massabesic and Tower Hill Pond are at full capacity, which precludes the need for continuing the voluntary restriction at this time.

The MWW services approximately 100 customers in the Town of Auburn.
