Conservation Commission

July 8, 2009

 

 

Present: Chuck Joy, Chairman, Paul Raiche, Anne Gagnon, Alan Villeneuve and Jill Morrison

 

Chuck Joy called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

 

Chuck Joy made a motion to raise Anne Gagnon to a full voting member of the Conservation Commission.  Second – Alan Villeneuve.  All in favor. 

 

Chuck to email the selectmen to officially nominate Anne.

 

Chuck Joy discussed a setback waiver request from the landowner at 50 Maverick Drive.  The landowner wishes to reduce the height of brush which is inhibiting his view of the beaver pond he lives on.  A site walk is scheduled for Thursday, July 9.

 

Chuck Joy raised a discussion on the Therrien property development request for dredge & fill permit.  Anne Gagnon is to write a letter to the NHDES on the Therrien waiver request.  Jill Morrison to research the ranking of the Therrien property within the West Environmental Auburn Wetlands study.  Anne believes the wetlands are part of the Tier 2 group.

 

Chuck Joy announced he is we need a new CTAP liason because he is now chairman.  He is looking for volunteers to fill this position.  Anne Gagnon volunteered. Second – Alan Villeneuve.  All in favor. 

 

Alan Villeneuve made a motion to adjourn the meeting.  Second – Anne Gagnon.  All in favor.
