Present:   Chuck Joy, Chairman, Jeff Porter, Jill Morrison and Duffy Smiley (Duffy arrived at 7:20pm)

Chuck Joy called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Chuck Joy made a motion to raise Jill Morrison to voting member in order to reach a quorum.  Second – Jeff Porter.

Jeff Porter made a motion to approve the May 5, 2009 meeting minutes with amendments.  Second – Jill Morrison.  All in favor.

Chuck Joy initiated discussion on the reformation of the Open Space Committee.  Chuck stated that the Open Space Committee should focus its efforts on researching and obtaining grants on upland parcels to existing wetlands in order to protect the wetlands and secure wildlife habitats and corridors.  Discussion ensued.  It was decided this topic would be discussed further at the June meeting.

Chuck Joy asked the group when future meetings should take place.  Discussion ensued.  It was decided to maintain the current 3^rd Wednesday schedule for now and it will be discussed further at the June meeting, which is planned to take place on June 17,2009

Duffy Smiley made a motion to adjourn the meeting.  Second - Jeff Porter.  All in favor.
