PUBLIC NOTICE
PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to RSA 31:95-b and Article 21 of the 1999 Town Meeting, the Auburn Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Monday, February 13, 2012 beginning at 7:00 P.M. at the Auburn Town Hall for the purpose of receiving public comment concerning the acceptance and expenditure of the following unanticipated revenues:
· Receipt of $10,509.94 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency / NH Bureau of Emergency Management for disaster assistance for the declared August 2011 Tropical Storm Irene Disaster, and to authorize the expenditure of these funds for expenditures incurred by Town departments.
· Receipt of up to $6,346.65 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency / NH Bureau of Emergency Management for hazard mitigation as a result of work done on a culvert and drainage project on Rockingham Road in 2011, and to authorize the expenditure of these funds for expenditures incurred by the Town.
· Receipt of $14,035.00 from an Emergency Management Performance Grant from the NH Bureau of Emergency Management for the purchase and installation of a digital emergency notification sign, and to authorize the expenditure of these funds for expenditures incurred by the Town.
